The Riverside Restaurant is run by a man who is passionate about food. Coming from the fishing village of Portaferry in Co. Down Chef Stephen Anderson’s love of freshly caught fish from Strangford Lough, shows through in the dishes he produces for his customers. He is a former sous chef of the Tate Gallery in London and has worked with chefs such as Paul Rankin and the late Robbie Millar.
Stephen has been with Portadown Golf Club since 2004 and has steadily built the business up to a successfully run restaurant catering for intimate dinners, christening lunches, wedding receptions to functions for over 100 people.

Stephen also has a range of weekly specials which will be on offer on the blackboard in the longue and back bar as well as advertised on his Facebook page The Riverside Restaurant.
